2001 no mint mark Lincoln cent is this a closed AM?

2001 was not a year for the variety of "AM"s... the cutoff was 2000... and would be a WIDE variety if it were.
but... It appears to be something going on with that AM... looks a little carbuncled... but images are not clear enough to make out.
