1998 p dime with a mark on roosevelts neck(hope u can see it)

I was lookin through some change a while bac and found this 1998 p dime but on roosevelts neck theres this weird mark, im sure its not worth anythin just wanted to kno what kind of error it was. Sorry if u cant see it good, but i can see where the mark is on the pic and i hope u can to

I blew it up a bit, and cropped it. Turned out a little blurry, but you should be able see it a little better. Looks like a die break or gouge. Is the area raised or sunk in?

Well when i look at it closely it isn't raised, but it also doesnt look sunk in. It seems to be more level with the dime. If i could only choose between raised and sunk in, i'd say sunk in.

I've tried a bunch of things to try and make it look good, but i think im doing all the wrong things..its this digital camera...if someone on here has a scanner and would be able to scan it then that would be good, but for now thats the only good pic to look at

There are tons of mint errors, more than we would ever dream of. Do a Google search on mint error coin books. **LINK REMOVED BY REQUEST** They dedicate entire books just to identify mint errors. In my humble opinion I think it is a mint error but it's just my optimistic opinion.
