Detected a 19th century homesite today and came away with many interesting relics: (top row) some sort of lead counterweight that fit in a concave brass piece, a brass escutcheon key hole cover, (middle row) lantern part, lead-filled letter 'L' with attachment hooks, a clay marble, and (bottom row) bridle rivet, hinge piece to wooden ruler.

Cool Digs! Congrats

Thanks MikeRo. It was a great day to be out.

Cool! Always fun to mix it up and look for something a little different.

Thanks washingtonian! Would like to have come away with a coin or button, but some hunts have a charater all their own. Just to get an item from the old house (now gone), like the key hole cover made it special.
