1st Silver Coin

I found the well worn 1943 silver quarter at about 5 inches. It was found with a nickel and three pennies. Almost a micro cache! It is my first silver coin so even though it is well worn it will take a place of honor among my other favorite finds!

My second time out metal detecting I found a silver dime and a gold chain. I thought "This is gonna' be easy." WRONG!! I just recently found my second silver coin and only 3 gold rings, and darn lucky to get them! I have found several silver earrings and 6 silver rings.That was in my first year of hunting. To date this year I have one silver earring, 3 fake gold rings and no silver coins! It seems like the longer I go the behinder I get! But that next beep may be a silver dollar or gold ring and that's what keeps me going. Monty
