Saturday I got 9 silver halves (2 barbers) 13 quarters (2 barber, 2 standing liberty) more than 80 silver dimes (almost 20 mercs) also got almost 40 buffalo nickles and V nickels.
No I did not find these CRHing (sorry for the teaser :P ) I just discovered another way to find silver and old coins and wanted to pass it along.
GARAGE SALES is the new secret word!
I stopped at one while bank hopping and asked my usual "do you have any old coins?" I was in luck this time. I asked the price and they were not sure what to ask. I offered 5.5 times face on the silver and .20 - .25 cents each on the non silver. Added it up I paid $108, they were happy and I was very happy.
I will sell enough to make $108 and put away the rest. (all Barbers and standing lib quarters have a new home, FREE BARBERS)
