I picked up 2 boxes of pennies today and when I looked at the first one I had a bad feeling. They all were very shiny. I opened it up and looked at the other side, all of the show 2010 D. Should I keep this box and try and sell it for a profit as possible 2010 D box? What are your guys opinions.

I would try it.

I looked closer and they are actually 2016 coins.

Now for 2016, there is a minor double die error there. Go look for Wexler's site on the net and see if you want to bother looking for them. It's a very minor doubling. Probably will never be an expensive coin. Not like the 72's or the granddaddy of them all, 1955.

I would search for doubling on the obverse and reverse. It's still early as for varieties being found and I'm sure there are more yet to be discovered. Also the correct term is "doubled" die not double.

I agree with enamel. You could be the first to find a new variety.

Since you have so many at once....I would search them for errors....you might just have multiples!!! Good luck with your decision!
