I can finally post something of interest and great for me at the least.
I recently got an xlt thru a trade with oroho2. Thursday I took it out in
front of the house to hunt a little. I have gone over this area several
times with my 250 and the detector I traded. And found some zinc
and some clad. But when I went back over it with the xlt I was really
surprised at how much I missed. 27 coins and my "FIRST BUFFALLO"
A 1914 no mint mark Philly. Only 4" down.
Friday feeling a little confident and daring I went to the local park. I
went to my usual area where everyone sits watching the T-Ball games
and after only an hour and about $3.50 in clad and zinc. I get some
mixed signals. It took me a little to figure it out but in about an 5"
circle there was a pulltab at 2", a 1953 wheat just to the left also 2", a
1947 wheat just to the right at about 3 1/2", and then on a final check
of the hole my second FIRST time find. A 1942 MERCURY DIME also
Philly mint.
I work four days then I am off four days. I do this for eight weeks
then I work four weeks of five nights a week second shift. This is how
I got out Thursday and Friday. Now just 2 more days til I can hunt
again.
come on Wednesday
