Went to the old reliable fairgrounds this afternoon, and thought I would concentrate strictly on deep signals and ignore all others. Its kinda tough to do this as there is so much clad there and the temptation to dig is a hard one to resist! I wasn't too long before I got a hard signal that was deep, came up with a nice 1936 Merc for my reward, gotta love silver! That gave me the will power to keep searchin for those deepies. Soon I got a strange signal that was deep and sorta read as a penny. I was really getting some strange reads on this coin so I figuired what the heck I'll give it a dig. About 7 inches down I pinpoint a wheatie that had been folded in half! looked like a mini taco! lol I started poppin one wheatie after the other ended up with 7 of those boogers. Just before I was ready to go home and make dinner I got a real strange hit that was trying to say it was silver, but I could tell there was something else near and was 2 different objects very close to each other. I decided to see what it was and proceeded to dig, I got a real nice canadian silver dime 1935 and found it laying right beside an old muffler clamp! Gotta love how that procoil on that SE can seperate targets like that.
