2 HOUR HUNT - HAMMERED>>>

As I did 9 hours yesterday not stop & supposedly resting I only did 2 hours today.

I started off where I left off yesterday. First find (second signal) was the Lizzy Hammered & half way down the run I found the broken hammered. Shows why you should stick to the grid pattern. My runs (a run is what I call a length before you turn back on yourself) are very long on this field. 30 minutes each way (so only did 4 runs).

Sheet of silver dated - Birmingham 1889.
1 Roman coin
19th century medicine weight

Hammered were:
Elizabeth I 1582-1600 Halfgroat
Commonwealth Halfgroat 1649-1660. These are rare, although dad had his first this year I haven't found one in 15 years! Produced during the Civil War by Oliver Cromwell (Commonwealth).

Scary thing is, that I'm only just above average. In better places like Norfolk with it's stunning Saxon / Viking history they pull up some amazing finds.
