Kudos to you for the research and for finding/hunting a high potential spot. There's more pleasure than just treasure, and I hope you had an enjoyable time on the hunt!

Cheers! :skullflag: :occasion14:

Hi, awesome pictures and it looks like a great place to detect:icon_thumleft:. Some nice coins found. Congrats:icon_thumright:

Your research and photos are a great treat for me to view! Thank you for sharing! :occasion14:

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Not that my idea is any better than anybody else's, but in the 2nd pic you posted from 1956, the place that stands out for a place to check is where those trails intersect just above the upper left corner of the pool. In the subsequent pics, the area is a small cove in the trees. Even in the 1938 pic, there is a trail there. Interesting that they came to that spot. Is there a well there? Anybody else see that?

Nice hunt, that spot could keep you very busy for a while, keep on beepin’
