Found these on the edge of a corn field before my batteries crapped out.You would think by now I would have learned to carry spares! Not shure but they look colonial

Keyhole cover and that looks like a buckle nice going

Colonial finds indeed!

Brass keyhole cover (likely from a padlock), and pieces from a shoe buckle.

The keyhole cover is a crown over G.R., indicating Georgius Rex (King George), dating from the Georgian Era.

Looks like a promising site, saw several pieces of black glass on the edge of the field. The bad part is, it will be awhile before I can hunt it again. The owner is ready to cut his corn and he's leased this area to some deer hunters.
