Searched old homesite again. Found lots of buttons and 2 King Georges. They are in the olive oil. I'll repost them if I can get better details.

If this was at the same place as Sunday, I really need to get down there before you guys clean it out! Wtg, Rick....can you tell which KG variety they are?

Really hard to tell. I'm soaking them. I'll let you know if I can get some better details.

Always nice to see George coming out of the ground. Looks like you have yourself a nice spot. Now all you have to do is find some silver from the period. HH

Ever tried the peroxide method to clean the coppers? Finish afterwards with bees wax or Blue Ribbon Coin Conditioner and they turn out beautiful, without all the messy oil leaking out over the years.
