1695-98 William 111, George 1 "Dump", 2-1730 George 11

I had an extra play day so I decided to hit one of my old sites(CB-1). I couldn't get a single coin, just lots of buttons. The next day I decided to move on. I came across a nice early site. The most modern coin was a 1730 George 11 Half Penny (X 2). The oldest coin was 1695-98 first issue, King William 111 Half Penny. Also found was a George 1, 1717-1719 "Dump" Half Penny, a Tudor Rose sleeve button, and my favorite, a small early axe head (being conserved right now). Please chime in if you can identify the axe head.

Well done. First….youre in an area with dates that most folks envy, second your soil conditions make those that have the same date range as you envious. If I were to find something that old here, would have no idea due to ground action

I think that is a hewing axe or hatchet (depending on size) head.
The coins are fantastic. Your newest is older than my oldest, and I seldom get a halfpenny in as good condition as any of yours. I'm a little green!
