They look like they are in great shape for being in the water all those years. Great finds.
 

Do I see remnants of liners and leather in some of those?
Have you seen anything of the unit designations or emblems on any of them?

Of a total of 6 helmets- 2 has remains of leather, and a very weak silver eagle on the side, 3has the metal liners inside, but the leather is gone. The last one is only a empty shell, but this one was discovered in only 50cm of water.

Sadly, I bet that there are also human skeletel remains in that pond.
 

top stalhelm appears to be an M35, and the bottom one is an M42............... :thumbsup:
