2 Nice coins! Great details! 1804 and 1718.

The 1/2 cent was found inside wall of cellar hole. 1718 is my brother in laws oldest dated coin. That was found 4' from a main road. Cannot believe salt had no effect on it. Amazing. 1/2 cent variety is Cohen-13..very common.

Those are BEAUTIES! Really nice finds, congratulations to you guys. Berkshire Mike is my brother, I saw your reply to his post...you and I actually connected three or four years ago, but never got out together. We should share notes, I've got a couple other guys on the PPD that also go. We're mainly hitting south county and some of the hill towns...like you, I've been concentrating on cellar holes since it's so hard to find new places to go. All the favs have been pretty well tapped.
Anyways, nice coins once again, maybe we'll run into each other one of these days.

Haha, the KG1 has an even better name. A Dump half-penny. Probably my favourite coin name

Great finds. When I first clicked on your post and saw an 1804 copper I almost fell on the floor thinking it was a large cent. Great condition on the half cent. Nicer than any draped bust half cent I've found or seen posted. Great going.
