Hello everybody, I got out alone this morning for a couple hours. I went to a place near my house, a waterway that goes through the city, dry at this time of the year. I found a broken sterling bracelet with an agate stone, and a big sterling ring with a red stone, as well as several watches and lots of corroded coins, cell phones, pulltabs, etc. The Blue max 600 coil on my XLT helped with the huge amount of trash at this place. Also found a potential place near my house where an old house is being torn down...now I just have to get permission to detect there. Happy hunting, Niffler

I can't decide which one I like better, the ring or the bracelet, both are very nice finds.

Hey Niffler,
Thank you for including which of your equipment you used to make these Great Finds and congratulations. I've an XLT Spectrum that I will be shaking the dust from in the next few weeks, I will practice on tot lots and will then try some older sites. I still need to learn my machine, any suggestions for settings for coins and then jewelry?? Thanks for sharing your hunt and possibly some info. Herb
