So I got excited today because they started to tear up the last 2 blocks on the street that is being redone. PBS and quite a few other metal detectorists have given that street a very thorough combing, although I'm sure there is tons of stuff we never even came close to recovering! Anyway, got a chance to go out tonight with a friend and found some unique items for this area of Michigan. First of all this section of road was the cleanest of them all! There was hardly any signals so if we got any we dug them! My first hit was a nice 2 ring mini ball, first one I've dug and considering I'm in lower Michigan I thought it was a little odd, even though PBS dug a 3 ringer a week ago! Weird! Anyway, just a foot away from that I dug another lead round pistol ball which was in much better shape than my first one! I also found a small brass/copper button top, missing the shank or back to it and a 1925 wheat! Not a bad night especially since it was beautiful outside, few bugs and clean ground to detect on...I'll take it! Anyway, thanks for looking and HH!

P.S. I know very little about bullet calibers so if anyone has any info on the two ring I found I would really appreciate whatever you have to share, always wanting to learn more!!!

What does the base of the bullet look like?

also a measurement of the diameter helps, nice finds

Good work! Keep it up. I guarantee there is still a lot out there we haven't found.

Its kinda oblong from being a lil smushed but its roughly just a lil over a half inch in diameter
