I'm going to need a professional to say if this coin is a legit 09-s VDB or not. Cleaned it with soap and water by hand. The ring was quite heavy considering how small it was. No idea on the date but its infantry. The dime I did clean as best as possible but its got staining. Pretty decent condition for a barber dime.

Looks like it in the pix. Hope so! Huge congrats!!! 🙌

I’m not so sure, the first pic shows a a mark higher than the S would be....

Unfortunately that is not an S there is no mint mark to be seen

Very cool finds all around, even if it is just an 09 VDB.

Nice assortment of finds. Congrats.

Way to go.Congrats

Nice!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!

Very nice finds, really like the ring.

Great finds, that ring is awesome congrats on the discoveries! Recently I dug a worn 1914 wheat and spent a good while trying to figure out if it was just a flaw/circulation damage or a "D" mint mark under the date, but for the both of us it is probably just wishful thinking built upon an (in)conveniently located blemish. There's always next time though!

personally, I'd date the ring anywhere from the Span-Am war (1898) to about 1920

Its definitely NOT an 09-s.
