2 weeks beach hunting

Just returned from a 2 week vacation in Plum Island Massachusetts. Detected every chance I could get and found many fishing weights and clad coins. A couple small jewelry items and the usual trash ,etc.Very relaxing vacation and one surprise find an 1800s large cent- very toasted on the entry path to the beach . The one day I was gridding out the beach and came upon a $20 bill half buried in the sand! Made my day. I didn't hunt in the surf with my AT-pro as the water never went over 60 degrees- too cold without a wet suit. All in all a very pleasant vacation.

What, no cell phones? Must be the primitive area's of the beach you hit. Good variety in any case.
