Picked up a jewelry jar at gw for $20. Had good luck last time and got a 14k Lady Elgin watch and 4+ grams of 14k. This one was a grand slam!

Chinese ring marked 999.9 very pliable, 24k? 7.5 grams

14k and 18k earrings 3 grams

A & J Harvey sterling santa pin

Swarovski Panda brooch

Not bad for $20!

I was at a GW and the clerk was teaching the new clerk about jewelry. She told her- never let any one go thru the jewelry that is in the boxes on the floor behind the counter. That is for the clerks to go thru and if we find any thing "interesting" then the manager has to look at it. New clerk asked why and the answer was "I don't know". Well I know for a fact she knew just did not want to say because of gold and silver in front of the customers.
