Lets start from the begining today at work. I really
wanted to be out detecting and not working on such
a magnificent day, but it was my Saturday to work.
Anyways my supervisor asked me to take some boxes
to the dumpster and on the way there I saw a bank
envelope in the grass and this is where it gets weird,
ever hear the old saying if your left palm itches your
going to receive money? Well mine started itching, but
I left the envelope laying there until I dropped the boxes
off and came back to pick the envelope up and my palm
was itching horribly, so I tore the envelope open and low
and behold there was a crisp $20 bill in the envelope !!
Talk about been in the right spot at the right time !!!!

Good find Allen. Several years ago, a friend (who hunted with me before Dman) and I were hunting a CW site near some new homes. Behind the homes in the woods, I looked down and saw a $10 bill on top of the leaves. It had not been there too long as it was not faded. We ate lunch on the $10 and my friend declared that I had "the find of the day!". HH.

I don't feel like I find too many really good finds metal detecting on a regular basis, but I seem to find money in parking lots all the time. I guess I'm always looking down scanning for eyeball finds.

I found a $5 bill today in the parking lot of the grocery store

A couple of years ago I was leaving a lunch meeting at a health club, and while walking out to my car I spied a folded bill on the ground. I went over and picked it up and it was a $100 bill

I find ones all the time, and every now and then I will find a fiver. I've found at least one $20 in the past.

Go figure. Maybe I should stop metal detecting and just wander around parking lots all day
