Hey all,

I was given this at the last coin show I was at. Apparently, it was given away in cheerios boxes and it is one of the first 10,000,000 minted. My question is does anyone know when the 2000 WAM error was struck? Is there anyway to tell if the error was at the beginning of the mintage or the end?

I'm tempted to check but if its not then i ruined the giveaway. I don't think its worth anything anyways though.

Too bad it's no a Cheerios dollar.

Too funny! Because I saved one of those, too! I thought I was the only one!

This was the year of a wide AM die variation as you've done said. To answer your question of whether this is one or not you really don't know without looking. I do have a couple of these in my collection and have not checked all of them for the WAM. I do however know of people that have broke them out and sure enough they were wide AM. On the other hand I know people that have and them not be. They retail at about $3-4 in the package so hope this helps.

Seen this this morning in a magazine of a well known wholesale club I belong to. Guess they haven't checked eBay.

Oh man. $130 is pricey! Good to know some of them were WAM varieties. Thanks for the replies.

That is just a company overpricing things. You may get a few dollars for one, since they are MS-65+ usually. A Cheerios dollar is worth thousands.

Well, you can always try for $129, but dont always get it!

Reminds me of the story of a kid selling Lemonade for $1000 a cup. A customer says you won't sell many with that price and the kid says "I only have to sell one"
