Havent been able to post as much as I would like to so here is what I have found since the beginning on 2011, this is an every weekend thing when Im not working thing, so here is a mixture of just the dropped and carved bullets that I have found with even a few nice buttons

Colt .44 Dragoons

Carved bullets, the two on the left where beaten into what I believe to be chess pieces, they were not hit by a plow as they were deep in the woods.

A little unknown pistol bullet??

My first Confederate High Base

Two nice burnsides

Awesome Carbines

1826-1828 Flower button

Confederate Flower button and an unknown "E" button any help with it would be appreciated maybe an early Engineer button?

Intresting ring its not gold maybe brass but has what appears to be ruby's and a white sapphire stone

And last but not least a fertilizer eaten eagle button

Oh... I thought I posted that on here sunday when I found it but apparently not, posted it on dixie and facebook though, here is a couple of pics of the NC button, it was found in a very trashy site but I have also seen other buttons come out of that area, the area that it was found was the main union arty works these boys had 21 guns set up on this hill and there is no possible way that the NC boys made a charge that far, so we think that the confeds were at this spot before the battle took placed camped out for a day or so. Cant clean due to the fact that it could crumble, it shows some edge seperation but face is great and back is pushed in.

:notworthy: Looks like you are kind of the lead so far. Nice digs cwdigger. Carved bullets mean they had a little time on their hands. Makes for a good site.
