2011 in Review

I managed to get out 27 times in 2011, which is not too many times for many people, but was a lot for me. I didn't make any spectacular finds this year. I did find 24 silvers, 9 large cents, 4 two cent pieces, and 14 marked military buttons (including a few nice early one piece). Here are pictures of hunts and highlights in chronological order from the beginning to the end of the year.

I'd say those are pretty spectacular finds, especially for no more than you got out. I got out twice that many times or more and didn't find a fraction of what you did. Great year in my book and I hope you do 10 times better this year. HH

Love the buttons and coins, the half dime may elude you but the 2 center is one coin I haven't found yet.

Thanks HB, it is really weird how certain items are common finds for some, and can't be found by others. For me it has been the half dime. I have found {8} 2 cent pieces and {15} half cents, but the half dime has never showed it's face for me.
