Thanks to Lowbatts for the Elgin Eagle brew stopper. Normally I show a nice beer in my posts but since these are scans, the 1893 stopper is best for the highlights of 2011.

55 silver coins
1911 vehicle tag for one horse
1867 shield nickel
5 cent bar token
1861 kruezer
1899 UK penny
some buffalo nickels, indian pennies, and 300 or so wheaties.

The best part of 2011 is the people I have met and friends I've made in this hobby. Soupie's spring hunt was the time of my life. If only the wind wasn't 80mph that weekend. Happy Hunting and a great 2012 to you!

Hey Dennis,
The holders are called "air-tite" coin holders. They come in all normal coin sizes. I got mine off a guy on ebay. 25 of them for a few bucks. They protect the coin and also even magnify it slightly when its in the case.

Yep, another rookie making me drool! Awesome year Jason! Hopefully we can pull a few more stoppers in the old brown bottles this year.

Jman You had quite a year my friend....just glad I got to swing a few coils with ya,drink a few fine beverages and see you dig some firsts....the highlight for me was the look on you face when you found your first BBQ at the Field of Fools,I guess the word contentment comes to mind,if there is such a word,I also got to witness you dig your first ever BBD and the sunsetting tree shot from that day summed it up well...anyhow hope to see you down sometime this spring....till then just keep doin what your doin and I'll try and keep up :laughing7:
