2012 IN REVIEW, ITS BEEN A GOOD YEAR

pardon the pic quality, my camera is acting up, 2012 has been a great year for digging, still cant believe i got 2 US Plates in one year since ive only been hunting about 14 or 15 months now, but found quite a variety of old coins, half dimes 3 cent piece, seat dimes, barber dimes quarters nickels... military and civilian decorative buttons and accouterments, a complete shoulder scale, civil war bullets of a number of varieties and many other pieces, hope 2013 brings more great hunting for all of us. happy new year.

You did quite well for someone in their first year of metal detecting. Your finding two CW plates (since you're in Virginia) isn't as surprising to me as the two silver dollars!
