Check in your app if they refer to the proper name of the Native American Coin Series. Technically, the Sacagawea Series started in 2000 till 2009. The Native American Dollar coin series still uses the same obverse featuring Sacagawea, but the reverse changes yearly to commemorate contributions by the Native American community. In 2015, the Mohawk Ironworkers were recognized for their contributions and was issued in Mint and Proof Sets (P/D/S). They were also available direct from the Mint in bags/rolls.

So are these 2015 S sacagawea coins commonly made or are there just a few minted?

Specifically, all "S" mint coins have low mintages. San Francisco produces the proof coin sets sold direct to consumers via the US Mint. Now, San Francisco also produces business strike quarters, but they are also produced with low mintages and are sold direct in bags/rolls. Now, just because they have a low mintage doesn't mean they are not common. It just means that their distribution is limited.

Yours appears to be circulated. It is still a proof, but impaired. It will have no value to a collector over the face value.

Thank you really appreciate the information
