I am still searching my box of quarters. Kinda of a slow process but its just to hot to metal detect!

Anyhow, so far i have found a couple die cracks and now this.

Click on the picture for a closer view.

The "T" caught my eye at first but it looks like i see doubling in several letters on the front of the coin

I am not going to call it a doubled die because it is likely something else.

So, is it a keeper?

Unfortunately, this looks to be machine doubling to me, a strong example of it. But, not a true double die variety. The biggest clue to me is that in double die cases the doubling is in the same direction on the entire coin. As your pictures show the doubling on the "QUARTER DOLLAR" text is in the South - South West direction. However your last picture shows the "OF AMERICA" in the North - North East direction. Additionally, true double dies exhibit a shelve on the doubling the images show more of a slopped doubling.

If you like it keep it though. I have kept several strong Machine Doubling examples in the past. However they are curiosities and really hold no value.

Keep on searchin :)

Moff347 is correct. It is called machine doubling or strike doubling. It happens when the planchet slips a little in the press.

Thank you to you both for the very informative responses! I have only recently started looking at coins for errors and this site has been a huge help.
