I was active a couple years ago both on the forum and CRHing, although maybe it was 3 or 4 years ago, time flies.

This past weekend I decided to see if my bank accounts at 3 different banks, where I had opened them with $10 each, were still active. 2 were not. At the one that was still active I asked about CWR of halves. they had 5. The third bank were I will reopen an account said they would be happy to order rolls of halves for me!

Anyhow, also got 40 rolls of dimes and some other denominations.

The dimes were 7 CWR and 33 BWR, skunk on the CWR's but the 33 BWR (Gaurdia) gave me 30 dimes! basically a few skunks but then consistent 1 per roll with some doubles and one triple.

The halves were interesting since someone had written what I assumed was the dates of the coins on them. AND it was! The 64-69 was solid silver, 17 40% and 3 90% Kennedy's and the 69-72 gave 5 40%

what a way to start my log, even thought it is late in the year I almost tripled my lifetime count of dimes!

Heading to the bank to open an account at lunchtime and order a box of halves.

Just got back from the banks.

Eastern said that while they will order coins by the box for me including halves, they will not give out CWR's, bank policy

I went over to TD and got 60 rolls BWR from Gaurdia of dimes and 4 CWR of quarters. Hope the dimes are the same batch as my silver hoard.

Ben: how are you going to TOP your recent trophy find? I have yet to a full solid roll of Dimes, Halves, or even to the extent of a full roll of Wheaties. Love it. No wonder they call it silver porn, ya just keep getting the pics out over and over again, just to look at them.

opened the 60 rolls of dimes, skunked. Oh well I can't complain, I have had two big scores, the 2 solid rolls of Walkers and this weekend haul! I have them in tubes on the shelf above my desk so I can look at them every day

Went to the bank today and got 10 rolls of dimes and 5 CWR cents and 1 CWR quarters, all skunks

BUT when I went to Subway to get lunch I reached in my pocket to get a dime for the sub, I looked at my change and there was a 1932 Washington in nice shape. I must have gotten it in change at McDonalds the other day.

Reopened my account at a local bank, no halves but got 20 rolls of CWR quarters, all skunks

Actually not a total skunk got a non-silver 1 Franc piece, so lost 25 cents

Just got back from another bank, 10 CWR and 10 BWR of dimes. We will see

Went to a bank I just opened an account at because they have a counting machine, after dumping my coins it turned out they charge 3% even to depositors until I turn 65 next year.

BUT I did ask for halves and they had 18 loose, there were THREE 40% and 1 90% Kennedy!!!

Never heard of the 65 age rule. I have to keep that in mind, I'm 71.

Just got back from dumping some coins and asking for CWR's

asked at two banks, got 5 rolls of quarters and 6 of dimes. Will open them in a bit

Before dinner went to the bank again, TD had no rolled coins at all.

Went to Citizen's at the supermarket, asked for halves, they had 2 single coins, one was a 40% !

I also got a bunch of CWR 7 halves, 19 dimes 2 nickels and 12 penny rolls

Got 2 boxes of halves from one of my banks, they ordered them from Loomis.

Opened the first one and there on the end of one roll is a 1967! So doing ok already

after opening 20 rolls, I found another 40% and one gold plated Kennedy.

My bank limits you to $200 a day in the coin machine I am opening 20 rolls and then wait for the rest, maybe, decided to turn them over to look at the other ends, found one more roll with a '68 on the end! So two rolls with 40%

Off to a good start

14 40% so far, still haven't opened the two rolls with 40% on one end, enjoying them for now.

14 from the first box, 1 from the second, still haven't opened the two rolls with the 40%ers on the ends, there may be another in there but I seldom see rolls like that
