Thanks Ben, I'll fill in when I find em that are not worthy of their own posting. Ready, Set, STACK.

Ben: I hope that every other handful produces a Rosie for you. DozerD

I have gotten through about $150 in dimes. So far have a 1958 1964 and a 1946. Also a lot of dirty corroded dimes, probably from a metal detector, about 40 so far (clads)

Found another dime, a 1950 Canadian Silver Dime...

About 1/3 through the bag, filled a #10 coffee can.

Congratulations, nice finds.:icon_thumright:

Ben: stopped at my branch that sells bags, picked up a quarter bag on a hunch to find any AG, and only because some of my other banks that takes my CWR's asked if I do quarters besides the dime & pennies that I turn in to them. So I'm going to do a test pull on qtrs., and see if I get any positive finds.

On quarters I have found that CWR's are sparse at least for me. On a normal bag I find 1 or 2 quarters at best, BUT that being said last March I got a bag and hit a dump, got 36 quarters and 1 Canadian, never happened before or since.

What type of loupe is that in the background?

It is an HE Harris 10x, I also have the 16x, but have since bought a Triplet that I like better, it is only 7x but works great.

I am about halfway done with the bag, still only 4 silver (1 is Canadian) but I found a 1997 that may be an error. The rim is higher and deeper than normal and on the reverse the rim seems double, might be an extra strike?

Besides looking for silver I also scrollsaw coins for pendants and ornaments. I will be doing the "Gold" one later. Only the Kennedy is real silver and that killed me to cut it but I wanted to see if it cut easier than the replicas.

Nice cut works on the coins. Do you do ear rings also, and out of what coins?

those are the only ones I have done, still learning, if I do ear rings they could be out of any coin. I have a jig for every size at this time.

Finished the bag of dimes.

6 Rosies
1 1950 Canadian dime
2 wheaties - one was the size of a dime, no reeding on rim, probably turned down.
about 20 Memorial Pennies, a 5 Pence and 2 weird foreign coins

I have 4 boxes of halves coming either tomorrow or monday

Congratualtions on the 2019 silver! :occasion14:

Just got back from the bank with two of my 4 boxes, get the other two tomorrow at a different bank. All are Loomis, one of the boxes is tapped shut so we will see what is in it.

as I turned in my dimes at the counter I asked for Large Dollars and they had 18 of them, nothing interesting but I will sell them for $3 each at the gun show

Good, cuz somewhere down the line I might send you some dateless SLQ quarters to try making earrings for my wife., what about cufflinks

Picked up a lonely1943-p Std Lib half out of 4-rolls from a teller when I picked up some dime boxes. Maybe the Xmas silver is actually flowing, but I'm sure it will be short lived.
P.S. Thanks again for running this post as the 2019 silver finds, just like your 2018 log.

I was thinking that the obverse and a reverse of two Buffalo's would make a nice set of earings, will try it out (although I won't wear them)

ran the first box of halves today, total Skunk.

Working the 2nd tomorrow and getting two more boxes tomorrow morning

Returned my dimes from the $1000 dime bag to 3 different banks coiunters.

I ended up with $979.

I took 7 SILVER dimes out and probably dropped at least 3 under my desk, that means it should have been $999. There were a bunch of pennies, probably 20 or so, so call it $998

SO either the bag is short or the counters are wrong. I don't dump where I get bags or boxes so ...

My feeling is that it could be a combination of both.
