2020 wasn’t all bad

It wasn’t all good either!

I had a really productive year. I found a bunch of nice points but most importantly made a lot of good memories with my boys!

One major bummer was that the land that I found most of these points on was sold in September and I haven’t found anything since! :/

The highlights were two of my boys (4 and 6) found their first points - with a little help from dad

My favorite point is a tie between the two table rocks but think I’m leaning towards the spade shaped one.

These were all found walking creeks in southern Illinois... the best way to artifact hunt!

I haven’t spent much time trying to identify these. Which ones are you saying are the Thebes and graham cave?

I think he may be referring to the small white one being the Thebes. It’s so small that I assumed it was a bird point. Did they make Thebes points that small?

Also think he’s referring to the point in a straight line below the white one as the graham cave. I was thinking Godar because I find a lot of those but the base is pretty concave so that might be right.

Nice variety of points and materials! All Illinois finds?
I noticed a broad triangle at the top right. The way you oriented that one suggests it may be something other than a triangle.
