21 coins and counting + a load of fishing wieghts

Been doing the same piece of beach for the last three days finding nothing no ringpulls nothing. So I had a sit down poured myself a cup of tea. And began wondering where the goodies lay of course some must be deep down out of range of my detector.

Then I took my trowel and pressed down into random pieces of sand until I found a spot where the sand was about 4inchs deep then hitting a rocky stoney bed.

May as well give it on more shot before I go home again empty handed bingo old coinage new coinage,fishing wieghts by the dozen so many infact I got a bad back carrying them all home lol.

I've done a lot of land hunting and quite of beach hunting by far I enjoy the beach hunting greatly its quite a challenge finding anything sometime but then again land hunting has its draw backs also.

thats using your noodle!! -- find the hard pan area that stops the coins from sinking past your detectors depth range (great idea!!) --- a metal probing rod would aid greatly in finding these "hard pan spots" without having to bend over so much.--- Ivan .

Apparently there are one or two clubs in my area in the three years I've only ever seen one other person with a detector. You here they keep asking what is that thing your carrying lol.

If you guys ever get here you would have a field day.
