$250.00 of half dollars and a find!

Hello all,

I had my bank order me $250 a month in half's, I got the first batch today. I searched nearly every roll 3 rolls left I find a 1964, 90% silver half dollar. It is not a Franklin half or a Walker like I was hoping for but its a silver and not a 40% I was dreading!! WooHoo !! This is my first 90% silver half dollar I have ever found from Metal Detecting and Coin Roll Hunting...

Hey all,

Thanks everyone... I'm happy I found a silver but I want to find 6 Franklin's 3 walkers and 22, 40% like some of you get.... That is insane I love the Franklin's, I could use that cash too. I would sell most the 40% and keep the Franklin's and walkers.

As far as Metal Detecting goes, I'll find a Silver Half someday and when I do it will be an outstanding one.... I have found a clad half and a clad dollar before Metal Detecting but that is just a disappointment. Cause your like ooh ooh an old large coin... Then it is a clad half your kinda disappointed.

congrats on a steady supply of coin. I think that is getting harder to come by than a 90%er.
