$26 in nickels

Halves have been getting really skunky lately, so I threw down $26 in nickels and found:

1 1940
1 1941
1 1943 35% silver

I am very pleased. I think I'm going to check nickels for another week or two, then back to the halves. Or both. HH!

I picked up two Jefferson nickel collection books from Barnes & Noble this week so I have to start hitting those nickels too. I had three rolls of pre 60 that I went through and filled a bunch of slots but still have a bunch to fill.

Don't give up on the halves now.....Keep em coming....

I CRH nickels quite a bit as well, because the dates are easier on the eyes than dimes or pennies. Sometimes I've done pretty well. Found quite a few '38s & '39s.
