Good evening T-Net,
Worked a half day today, and was able to get out into one of my favorite sections of woods to do some detecting. Things were slow up to the 2 hour mark, with only a bale seal, some bullets, trash, and a clad quarter in my dump bag. Hit on a nice, repeatable signal that rang in at a "78", then jumped up to "85" after scraping some dirt away. Dug down about 5 inches , and out pops a thin silver disk, about the size of a quarter.

It took me a minute for my brain to compute what was staring back at me from the bottom of the whole...Spanish Silver!!! YAHOOOOOOOO!!! After some cleaning, I was happy to see a 1721 CA JJ 2 real. My oldest silver to date.

Thanks for taking a look. Happy Memorial Day to everyone!
