Nice digs!!! Way to go on the Spanish silver!! :headbang:

Way to go James. Great recovery.

"to eat some spiders" :laughing9: Isn't that the truth... I cannot believe all the spiders in that forest today. All in all, I had a great time with you and Bob. Nice Pisterene brother. :hello2: See you this next week

Mike

Glad to see you guys got some keepers even though it had been hunted before. Good luck on your next hunt.

sweet Pistareen, James.. and for those asking lately why or how they're different than other reales- they were actually minted in Spain as opposed to the bust or pillar type reales we often find that were minted in South American spanish colonies.

Nice one James! Always a pleasure to find a cut Spanish coin. They are kind of a cross between a coin and a relic. Out of 15 cut pieces I have found, only one was a "half cut", but it was an 8 reale cut to 4 reales :laughing7:

Beauty James! :hello2:
Show those two how it's done in Va. :laughing9:
Congrats,
Doug

Looks like romeo has the other half, lol.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It got hot super quick here in Va 95 F for the average all week :angry4:

Nice Clipped Pistareen James! :headbang: We were just talking about you wanting to add one to your collection when you were down to dig last month and that's a NICE ONE, most times they come out in quarters!!! :icon_thumleft:
