Spent 2 days at a local soccer field. It's very evident that No One has ever hunted this field. Besides the rings I had about 25 dollars in quarters , dimes and nickels. Oldest nickel was a 1958. Oldest dimes and quarters found were 1965. I love it when I go to a place that is untouched......it's mine , mine I tell ya! lol soccerfield.webp Happy hunting to all.......!!!!!
2 of the gold rings were 10K.. the gold band was 14KP ...silver was 925. Class rings will be returned to owners...

Nice Finds... Looks like you a good spot to keep after!

That is probably the best jewelry yield I have seen posted. Awesome finds and I am sure you'll go back.

wow you really raked it in

Superb work Goldkey! That's a lot of digging. Keep us posted when you do the class ring returns (perhaps a photo of the owners when they get their rings back).

Congrats Goldkey! You killed it man. That looks like a years finds in two days!

Jack pot ! Congrats

Wow that is awesome! :notworthy:

So I'm a soccer field digger as well, what in the world is your basic strategy? What machine do you use? Do you ignore many signals to cut right to the coins and gold? Are there any signals you don't dig? Curious to know what you're style is...

That is a SUPERB 2 day jewelry yield at any sporting field. (Or any beach by any experienced diver...)

HH!

WOW that is awesome! You found your field of gold...silver, $$-- your field of dreams, and it's all yours! Well done!

2 days?
Can't ask for a better site to hunt than this.
As a jewelry hunter I am very impressed...and jealous!

CongratZ!

Its probably been said already, but you've found the "Field of Dreams"! Good luck in cleaning the place out.

I've been a MD'er for 40 years now......I usually pick a spot and start a grid search. I knew within 20 minutes of the first hunt that no one had ever searched that field....too many coins were popping up from the 60's and up. I've had the Ace 250 now for about 4 months.....it's really a good machine and the pinpointing is great. I don't use a pinpointer. One plug 9 out of 10 times and I'm off to the next target. I usually search in all metal mode and downplay the sensitivity. This particular field was directly under the big power lines so sensitivity had to be about half way down to keep from being noisy. I am looking hard at the AT Pro as I know that I am probably missing some deeper gold targets. When I get it I will for sure go back over the same places I have hunted before. I dig most solid signals as I have found gold that rang up in the foil area...a 14k gold cross with Jesus on it. That one surprised me, so since then I will dig the foil signal too. I set the machine to eliminate iron and foil only....but big foil will ring good no matter what you do. Most gold ring signals ring up as nickel and depending on size will ring up between nickel and tab.

WOW...Nice job on them rings.....

I know the feeling! Been there...in the 70's! Sure like to stumble on one today! HH

Sweet! How do you sleep at night knowing what lurks out there waiting for your coil? Lol...very nice. Looks like you've got a lot of silver waiting for you, if you go by general silver to gold ratios. Yellow is gold, white is silver and red is a memorable find, but not gold or silver...
