3 - OLD SEATED DAY

HI FOLKS,
CROP'S HAVE BEEN PICKED IN OUR PART OF THE STATE. MY SON AND I GOT OUT TO TRY AND LOCATE AN OLD METHODIST CAMP MEETING GROUNDS. IT'S LOCATED SOMEWHERE ON THE 160 ACRES WE ARE SEARCHING, STILL HAVE NOT LOCATED WHERE THE MEETINGS WERE HELD, BUT HAVE LOCATED WHERE THE CHAPEL WAS. BACK IN MARCH I FOUND AN 1840"O" SEATED QUARTER HERE. TODAY I TOOK A BUTT WHIPPING HERE BUT MY SON FOUND 1840 AND 1841 SEATED HALF-DIMES AND A 1838 SEATED DIME. HE'S BACK TO WORK TOMORROW SO I WILL CONTINUE TO LOOK FOR THE CAMPGROUND'S. THANKS FOR LOOKING THE COINS WERE FOUND WITH A CZ-3D.

Seated sites are by far my favorite, because tinfoil and aluminum foil had not been invented and when you see a coin... you KNOW it's gonna be old.
