3-piece US Navy Eagle over Anchor Cuff Button

I dug this 13mm. Gold gilt 3-piece SCOVILLE & CO US Navy button the other day.
It was super crusty, and I thought it was a goner.
I finally got around to cleaning up a little bit more. Was wondering if anyone could date it, or give me any more information on it.
The 3rd pic is after I got the front cleaned up a little better.

I believe those marking indicate a date of 1840-1850. Button Back Marks
