Fisher F75
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Got out to a Baltimore City park this afternoon and detected for 4 hours. The F75 audio was acting up, sort of in and out with the headphones but I could hear enough to get on with it. The hunt today was with discrimination set to 4, so I was hearing most of the iron. The silvers on the day are the thimble piece, cross, and 1946 Washington quarter. Numerous deep relics were recovered. Not sure what they all are but among these is a utensil handle, a lantern part, melted lead, and a part of a key. The key part has the letter "M" hand-stamped on one side.
A great time out hunting an area that has been "hammered" by a number of detectorists.

Thanks for checking out the pics. HH and GL!

Nice finds, congratulations! :occasion14:

Thx Professor! I plan to hunt in AM tomorrow with jamie1993 if rain holds off. HH & GL!

I love old brass relics bits and pieces! Green patina coming out of the dirt makes me smile. Silver is always nice to find. Even better when you are pulling these cool finds right in the heart of where the cherry pickers are desperately searching for their precious silver coins!:hello2::laughing9: Keep gridding that place and digging those repeatable iffys. Even the little threaded brass pieces deserve a spot in the display case. God bless them one and ALL!:angel8:

Thank you, Kevin! One of my hunting buddies has given me the nickname "GridMaster Mike". We were back at it today and I did manage a tombac and another flat button. Jamie1993 got a 2-cent piece this morning and about six feet from that he dug a King George something.
