I only had about 30 minutes to hunt tonight, so I stopped by a local school and hunted the playground area. It is covered in wood chips and I thought I would run over the lot real quick. I only found a couple coins, but was really stoked when I dug one deeper signal and it produced a 1965 Canadian nickel! Although, this is nothing really valuable, I was happy. I have never found one of those before. The coin is in great shape, although it is chalky grey looking and has a wood chip stain on the front (picture 3) that detracts from the coin. Any ideas on how I might clean this for my collection? I know most people say not to clean them, but I just want to be able to bring out the detail more and add to it's eye appeal. Thanks all.........
