I found that one of my new sites had been plowed over so I hit it for about 30 minutes this morning. Same site I found the half reale a couple weeks ago. The furrows were huge so not ideal for detecting but scraped out a few more keepers. Copper is a French Sol...1770s...first one of those for me. Will go back once the furrows are disked down...then it should be ideal for fresh targets! Also eyeballed a Waterman's Ink.

That ink bottle is in great condition. Nice finds.

Very cool old French copper, nice job for a quick hunt

Congrats on the old copper and other nice finds

I only recall finding one of those myself, so definitely not a common one in our pasts. It's funny, for some reasons the early1790s 12 Deniers/2 Sols turn up more, not a lot, but more.
