Hey all, detected our spot in the woods this evening with my bro. The two halves were in the same hole. Best single day I've ever had for silver. Thanks, Jay

Jay, You certainly have a good spot to MD,from your first find an early Silver if I recall right, look at the area your coil ain't even touched yet!! NICE HALVES Dude!!!!! God Bless Chris

Thanks Chris, I know that spot still has some goodies. Every time I think it's done giving up coins I get another that keeps me going back.

metal detecting etiquette says you should have put one of the halves back for future MDers to find .............I'm sure you'll do the right thing !!!!!! :laughing7:

awesome Hunt Jay

Hahaha, I really should have put one back Dale, for one of those days that I can't even find a zinc penny 8-)

Awesome finds on the halves I'm at 32 for the year as well.

wow nice haul on the silvers. silver halves rock! :headbang:

Silver makes a Great Day... 2 Silver Halves in one hole is an Incredible Day! Way to go.

Wow! Two halfs ,KILLER!!!

Killer find congrats on the chunkers!

Killer! Looks like you have a great spot!

Ok i gotta ask a newb question: What do u guys actually do with your silver? I hit #s 5,6,and 7 this weekend and i cleaned them and put them in 2x2 coin holders. do people actually melt them? I like saving them and hope to fill an album with them someday. call me wierd, a newb, dork, whatever, i think im actually in it for the neat factor, unless of course i score a coin worth big bucks, i dunno, just me.....:dontknow:

If they aren't key date coins I just photograph them and sell them for melt.
