34 years worth in a box. Where's the fishing tackle?

I liked to fish way back then, until my priorities became apparent. I knew I could put my tackle box to a better use, so I sold all my fishing equipment. I then proceeded to fill it with my finds. Any silver and gold, or better coins went to the safe deposit box, and the relics and other neat stuff went in the box. Friends and family love to go through it and check out all the "treasures". One of these days I would like to display my stuff in a nice cabinet where everything can be seen without pawing through it.

Thanks for showing that! I think I'll do the same just for space saving purposes. Are those indian stone marbles I see in there? I see quite a few posted on Tnet and I was just wondering if you guys come across them while digging a metal target or if you're actually hunting artifacts when they're found.
Congratulations for all your finds and cudos for the hard work!

Sara , Most of those are musket balls, however, there is one clay marble in there. I found it on the surface among the roots of a tree.

More pics of the stuff in the box are on the way! Hope you enjoy!

Thank you all for checking out this post.

Well done!

I have an antique wodden tool box I always wanted to restore and use for my finds... the tackle box is a perfect idea!

That is a great idea. If you do a lot of presentations, etc., just pick up the tackle box and go. Plus it makes it nice to have all of your finds in one spot.

I don't know about giving up the fishing--but that is a good tackle box :) :) :) Good photo.

I have circled three interesting pieces in your box.

Are those colonial buckles?
You are correct about the buckles/parts. I only have one complete buckle though.

Thanks to all for your interest and comments.
