Yeah, maybe a die chip. I doubt it is a clash as there doesn't seem to be anything else going on with the design.

Tough call on the DDR. Hopefully, others will chime in as well.
I'm not a nickel guy but the marks through the T do line up with the top of the head, so possibly a clash.

The whole coin seems off in some way to me, but I can't put my finger on what it may be.
I only have knowledge of US Cents...edit: knowledge as far as errors and varieties.
