$350 Dimes 3/9/11

Initially purchased $50 in CWR at my local branch and then cycled those rolls throughout the day at various grocers swapping the "keepers" with spares from previous searches. The first twenty rolls were rather skunky, but I managed to fill all but maybe six spots in my 65-04' whitman's folder. After another couple hours of persistence I scored my first silver roosie.

1 - 1964

a couple hundred dollars and a british five pence later,

2 - 1968 Canadian Dimes 50% silver


I don't know how you folks handle these dimes, for now I think I'll stick with the halves.

I haven't got anything stronger than the pizza joint magnet affixed to our fridge, which didn't seem to have any sort of attraction. I'll try tomorrow with something with a little more gumption, just to be sure.

Yeah dimes are easy. I can search about $1000 an hour, a little longer if I re-roll, which is never. Usually you can nab the fat clad proofs also, by just edge searching.
