Thanks, but really want the Sampson not the ground shark--Tom

Tom,
You realize that the Sampson is only offered in in the 31" length?... so, I think, the only way to get it in the configuration you're asking for would have to be a custom made Sampson by Lesche or a customized Sampson by a local shop (or yourself). I live in Michigan and have 2 Sampsons... I'm always trying to bend the angle of the blade back to where it was originally after digging in the partially frozen ground... my point? You being taller, and utilizing more leverage with that longer handle, might want to consider extra bracing to better secure the angle of the blade.
Best of luck,
Gerry

Wanted--36 inch Sampson with at least a 4 or 5 inch wide foot step x 7 to 8 inch long--total length 36 to 38 inches --with a T handle---dream shovel for a 6' 2" person------Tom

Bought a 36" Sampson from Serious detecting metal detector sales in Ypsilanti Michigan, also bought my cors coil from them to-no problems and shipped fast------Tom

Good deal... glad that they offered the Sampson in a longer length.
