Hit us with a good in-focus closeup photo. A cursory look through Cunningham's Military Tokens of the US book doesn't turn it up.

Is this a J. A. Leggat sutler token? If so, three 25¢ varieties are listed in Schenkman's Civil War Sutler Tokens:
brass, R7, 11-20 known; copper and nickel, R9, 1-4 known.

One website suggests a value of $35+, which is preposterously low, in my opinion.

There are also 5¢ and 10¢ denomination coins from the same sutler. A pair of these in uncirculated condition sold for $2,587.50.

Barring effects from the present economy, that Sutler should bring a minimum of $200 if sold on ebay.
