Today I visited a park that I visited twice in the last month. 1st time I came away with a 10kt garnet ring and some clad. 2nd time was my first class ring and some clad. This time I ended up with a silver ring with a tribal design and $3.25

You need to grid that park off and do little sections at a time. Cover each section thourghly, you would be surprised what you will find. Way to go on rings on every trip. Hunt it good, there's more to be found.

Love the silver ring!

Classic!

Congratulations!

Ridley

:o :o What, your not camped out at that park yet? Three rings and gas money on each trip. You have one heck of a hot spot there. HH and keep the rings a coming.

Desertfox

;D ;D ;D nice one !!!

i found that same bubble gum ring last fall too....

Thanks, everyone.

Kirk, Ridley and Lost at Sea, I'm glad you like the ring(s). The second it came out of the ground I knew it was silver.

Piggman, I've got it sectioned off pretty well. There is a chain link fence on one side. I just line myself up with the first post. I then kind of shuffle my feet through the grass this way I can tell where I ve been. On the return pass, I overlap my swings by about 1/3. I cover a small fraction of the field in about 5 hours. In 3 trips at 5 hours a piece, I've covered less than half of the field.

Desertfox, no camping for me, too steamy ;D Yeah, I'm liking this spot. Hopefully it keeps producing for me.

Green1, is that what that is? I knew it was way too small. Thanks for the ID

Willie! You are on a great ring streak!!! Keep it going!

Congrats on those super finds! Nana :)

Sounds like you are covering it pretty thourgh. I use the fences the same way, and put one of those little marker flags out in the field where my end point is. The grass is great for keeping you on track, especially when there is dew on it.

silver is always nice! borrowing a quote from a former member! ;D
