Well, I had a 4 day night hunt with the tides being as low as they have been all summer.
It went OK, with a little over $100 in yen, One good thing about being in Japan. Big money coins.
Why they don't go to big money coins in the US is beyond me. It really is a nice system, especially for us":icon_thumright:

Anyway, all that and no gold, I don't even think any of the rings were silver. Did find one big ugly ring unless your are a Saints fan I guess.:laughing7:

What was strange, two rings I did find at two different beaches, they had roughly the same design and both say
Grand Blue and Grand Blue Britannia stamped inside, but no silver mark. I take it they are junk, but will double check later.

Anyway, thought I would post after running everything through the tumbler.

Thanks for looking, It was some long nights....that's what's good about being retired now, you can screw up your sleeping schedule:tongue3:

A lot of Yen there Dave. I would love to come back there to dive.

Awesome, some finds from Japan!!
I went skiing in Nozawa Onsen and on Hokkaido last February. What an incredible country. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Congratualtions on on the very productive hunt! :occasion14:

very nice. sure wish we would have to big $ coins. better for us detectors. a $5 coin would be very nice. congrats!

Still in the 70's I feel really well in it now with nothing on and I am one that don't like any cold. It will cool down next month, but the winters here are good with just a light wet-suit being ok..

Wow, Lots of snow up there....Like those Onsen's

nice haul Dave, you have quite the pile going on there...
